What counts as an agent run?
An agent run is one task taken all the way through the pipeline — planned, built, reviewed, tested, and deployed. It’s the same disciplined path every change follows: the agents turn your request into a brief, write the code in small reviewable pieces, run code review and automated tests, and deploy what passes.
A small change is usually one run. A larger feature is split into several tasks, so it may take a handful of runs to ship — you’re billed for the runs the work actually takes, not for seats or idle time.
Rough guide (not a quote):
- Fix a bug or adjust some copy — about one run
- Add a self-contained page or feature — a few runs
- Build a multi-screen flow with its own data and tests — several runs
If you go past your plan: you’re not cut off. Runs beyond your monthly quota are billed as overage (see the note above), so a busy month costs a little more rather than stopping your work.
