Privacy Policy

RailVio (“RailVio”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It covers both this marketing site (railvio.com) and our application at app.railvio.com.

This marketing site. You can browse the railvio.com marketing site without an account or login. It collects personal data in only two places, the early-access form and our analytics, both described below.

When you create an account. When you sign up on our application at app.railvio.com, our authentication provider, Logto, collects the email address and name you provide at signup. This information is used to create and secure your account.

Early-access requests. When you request early access, we collect your name and email address. You can also tell us what you want to build, which describes you, when you want to start, your plan, your website, and whether you want product updates. We also record the page you came from (when your browser shares it), any campaign (UTM) tags in the link you followed, and your browser’s user agent. We use this to contact you about access to our agent build service. Your request is stored in railvio.com’s own database, separate from our application at app.railvio.com. Our team receives a notification email with the details of your request, and you receive one confirmation email. We send you product updates only if you tick the box; to withdraw, email [email protected]. Your IP address is used by Cloudflare to limit repeated submissions and to run the anti-bot check, which starts when you open the early-access form. We do not store it. To have your request deleted, email [email protected].

Analytics. We use OpenPanel, open-source analytics software that we host ourselves. Its tracker is served from railvio.com, and events are sent to railvio.com, which forwards them to our OpenPanel server. It records the pages you view (their address and title), the page that referred you, the links you follow to other sites (the link’s address and text), which early-access and pricing-plan buttons you click, and that you submitted the early-access form: whether you described an idea, which page of this site you came from, and the plan you chose, never what you typed. Your IP address and browser user agent are forwarded with these events so OpenPanel can estimate your approximate location and group page views into a visit. OpenPanel is cookieless: it sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device.

We use the limited information we collect to provide, secure, and improve the RailVio service — to authenticate you, operate your account, communicate with you about the service, and understand aggregate usage so we can make the product better. We do not sell your personal data.

Because our analytics is cookieless and this site sets no tracking cookies, RailVio does not use a cookie consent banner — there is no cross-site tracking to consent to. Your account session on app.railvio.com uses only the cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in.

We rely on a small set of trusted processors to run the service, each handling only the data it needs:

• Logto — authentication and account identity (email and name).
• OpenPanel — self-hosted, cookieless website analytics.
• Resend — delivers the two emails for each early-access request: the notification email to our team, with the details of your request, and the confirmation email to you.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — checks that an early-access request comes from a person, using your IP address and browser characteristics.
• Our hosting provider — serves the site and application infrastructure.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights over your personal data. These include the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion (erasure) of your personal data.
• Portability — a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Objection to, or opt-out of, certain processing.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and HTTPS encryption for the early-access form and for account sign-up and sign-in. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to limit access to those who need it.

RailVio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the service where appropriate.
